A poly(2-vinylpyridine)-block-poly(2-(4-vinylphenyl)pyridine) (P2VP106-b-PVPPy95) coil-coil diblock copolymer forms hollow flower micelles in a mixed solvent of methanol and water (95/5, v/v) in a one step process.
